SHIPPING + HANDLING
We accept bags, boxes and envelopes to be dropped off at our office during our hours of operation. Please ensure that the recipients name and contact information are clearly marked on freight.
Please be advised that incidental freight will only be shipped if there is room on the airplane and is up to the pilot’s discretion. There is no guarantee when freight will be shipped

DANGEROUS GOODS
Dangerous goods are prohibited for shipment without prior approval. Please ensure all packages containing hazardous materials are declared prior to departure. Failure to declare dangerous goods may result in penalties, delays, or refusal of shipment. Contact our office for more information and to obtain proper documentation before shipping.

LIVE ANIMALS
Simpson Air (1981) LTD. will accept your live animal on your flight for transport in the cabin or in the baggage compartment, provided the animals fit in the IATA approved container/kennels.
We require up to 48 hours’ advanced notice should you want to travel with your pet.
Your animal(s) should eat a light meal and drink at least two to three hours before departure.
Exercise your animal immediately before leaving for the airport.

We recommend that if you have large items or many items to be delivered, that you arrange a separate charter for their delivery. When making your booking please let our office know the weight and size of the items you hope to ship.

LIVE ANIMALS
Does your furry friend need to fly? Are you a hunter and need to have your meat picked up and brought back to a community? We can help you!
As per the IATA Live Animals Regulations (Section 5.1) all pets need to be in an appropriately sized cage or kennel during flight. Cats and dogs are the most transported animals, and the type of kennel prescribed for them is the Type 1 Kennel (a rigid container). It may be made of hard plastic, metal, or plywood. The door must be the original door designed for the kennel and must be of metal construction. Wire kennels are forbidden.
It'll be your responsibility to make sure the delivery and receiving of your furry friend is arranged.
The number of animals accepted is limited per flight and may require a modification to your reservation to allow us to accommodate your pet. Arrangements must be made a minimum of 48 hours prior to your flights departure. Please contact our office to arrange
Conditions of Animals:

Animals that emit an offensive odor, is hostile, or in an agitated state at the time of tender will be denied at our discretion.

Pets that are younger than eight weeks old will not be accepted for transport due to the possible dehydration during flight

Females in heat, or with suckling young will not be accepted for transport.

Muzzled animals will be denied or otherwise restrained if the muzzle or other device restricts respiration

Simpson Air (1981) LTD will not be responsible in the event of loss, delay, injury, sickness or death of any pet or animal accepted for transportation
