GETTING HERE BY ROAD
The Deh Cho Connection road can be started from Grimshaw, Alberta or Dawson Creek, British Columbia. This scenic route along the Mackenzie Highway links up with the Liard Trail and the Alaska Highway and is part of the adventure. Communities and territorial parks offer camping, fishing, and hiking. Please note that some online map websites such as Google Maps list a journey time of 11 hours+ from Fort Nelson to Fort Simpson. The actual travel time is about 5 - 6 hours.
